Previous Experience

In the medical field, cooperation was made with Vodafone Egypt to conduct “Heart to Heart” convoys, in which a survey was conducted for (13,884) cases of both sexes in 12 governorates of the republic. Its goal was to conduct a survey of heart diseases in the preparatory age group (12:16) years to discover the percentage of heart diseases in general, and the results of the survey proved positive, indicating a positive percentage of .0097%.

Three medical convoys were organized with the participation of the Egyptian Special Olympics for the Disabled in the New Valley Governorate, Alexandria and Cairo. 477 cases were examined, 70 positive cases were discovered and are being followed up by the Friends of the Heart Institute Association. Ultrasound waves were performed on all the affected cases.

A convoy was set up to the city of Al-Wahat Al-Bahriya to examine the elderly over the age of 35. 370 cases were examined, including 10 cardiac catheterization cases, 4 open heart surgery cases, one stress ECG case, and one Holter case. The necessary measures were taken for all cases.

A convoy was organized to the New Valley Governorate, and 300 cases were examined. The following cases were discovered (17 catheterization cases – one case of dilation and stent placement – 5 open heart cases).
