United Nations Conference on Civil Society

The Friends of the National Heart Institute Association participated in the United Nations Civil Society Conference on May 9 and 10, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. The association was represented by Ms. Daghada Qazamel, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Sherif Ghoneim, Senior Consultant for Public Health Program Development at the Association. It was attended by more than three thousand representatives of United Nations organizations and representatives of civil society organizations from all over the world to discuss the challenges facing civil society organizations and proposals to deal with them and prepare for the United Nations Civil Society Conference to achieve sustainable development in September 2024, in New York – United States of America.
